The sink countertop will not be fully cured until one month has passed. During this period, only a soapy solution should be used for cleaning. After this period, standard cleaning products may be used. Do not use harsh chemicals or drain cleaners; if the drain is clogged, use a plunger instead. If this does not produce the desired result, we recommend cleaning the trap. By treating the countertop regularly (once every three months) with a good car wax, the surface is polished and minor scratches can be removed. This also enhances the water-repellent properties of the top layer, allowing you to enjoy your countertop for longer.

For daily maintenance, wipe down the sink surface with a damp cloth and lukewarm water. Limescale deposits can be easily removed with white vinegar. Scratches caused by metal objects, such as jewelry, can leave black marks (metal scratches). In many cases, these can be easily removed with a bathroom eraser. If the drain becomes clogged, do not use drain cleaners; instead, use a plunger. If this does not produce the desired result, we recommend cleaning the trap. Furthermore, irreversible damage (dull spots) can occur if toothpaste containing “amine fluoride” (found mainly in toothpaste for sensitive teeth) is allowed to dry on the sink surface.

The countertop should be cleaned daily with a damp cloth and lukewarm water. You can easily remove limescale using white vinegar; do not use corrosive agents such as anti-limescale cleaners, as these can cause irreparable damage to the countertop’s surface. Also, do not use drain cleaners. If the drain on your sink top is clogged, use a plunger instead. If this does not produce the desired result, we recommend cleaning the trap.

Maintenance Instructions

Our concrete products are extremely easy to maintain. Thanks to the protective coating, no substances can penetrate the concrete, making stains a thing of the past. You also don’t need to treat the surface with stain-blocking products or wax. Simply cleaning it with soapy water made from dish soap or all-purpose cleaner is sufficient.

Below are a few tips for keeping your countertop in good condition:

Do not use scouring pads or other abrasive materials to clean your countertop.
Move objects by lifting them. Dragging them can cause scratches and wear.
Use solvents with caution.
Do not place hot objects on the countertop.
Appliances that produce steam can damage the coating.
Repair the coating as soon as you notice any damage. This will help prevent discoloration of your countertop.

For stubborn stains, we recommend taking the following steps:

Apply a small amount of Glorix to the stain
Cover the stain with a damp cloth
Let it sit for about 1 hour
Rinse thoroughly with clean water or soapy water

Please note: The concrete may not have reached its final hardness during the first two weeks. We therefore recommend that you pay attention to the following points during this time:

Make sure liquids are not left on the countertop for extended periods of time, such as under a cup or tray.
Do not cover the countertop (even partially): the coating needs to breathe.
Do not place objects on the concrete for extended periods of time: the surface needs to ventilate.

Bathroom CabinetsThe environment in which our bathroom furniture is used always affects the quality of our product. Therefore, always make sure to place the furniture in a room with proper ventilation. Never use a scouring pad or harsh cleaning agents; instead, use a soft, damp cloth or chamois to clean the furniture. Never leave wet items on or inside the furniture; direct contact with water can cause the MDF to swell. The handles can also be easily cleaned with a soft, damp cloth or chamois. Do not use chrome or copper polish, as this can have serious consequences for the handles or other accessories. Maintenance

You can remove splashes, cosmetics, droplets, and stains using a clean, soft cloth or chamois and lukewarm water. Prevent corrosion or weathering of your mirror or mirrored doors by thoroughly drying the edges after cleaning; this will prevent cleaning residue from remaining on the sides of the mirror. Never use acidic, alkaline, limescale-removing, or abrasive products. These can damage the edges of the mirror. Cleaning products with high ammonia content can also cause corrosion. We recommend not spraying cleaning agents directly onto the mirror, but instead applying them first to a clean cloth and then wiping the mirror surface with it.

Before cleaning the lighting fixtures with a cloth or cleaning products, allow the parts to cool completely first. You can clean the fixtures with a clean, dry cloth; never use liquid cleaners or a damp cloth. Before replacing a light bulb, be sure to turn off the power circuit.

The Primabad dealer will then assess your complaint. If the defect is discovered before installation, do not assemble or seal the product. Once assembled, the product is considered accepted.

Since all our furniture is made to order, it may sometimes take a few weeks before the new items can be delivered. If this applies to you, please use the items as little as possible during this period. Be sure to discuss this with your Primabad dealer first, and remember that damaged or defective items must not be disassembled or sealed with sealant.

Primabad guarantees quality. For example, Primabad offers a five-year warranty on all its vanity tops, base cabinets, tall cabinets, and low cabinets. We offer a two-year warranty on all mirrors and mirror cabinets* (please note: the cabinet portion of the mirror cabinet is covered by the five-year warranty). We offer a one-year warranty on lighting fixtures and various other products, such as accessories.

*Warranty Exclusion Regarding Mirror Weathering: Due to the nature of the material, we are unfortunately unable to provide a warranty against weathering of the mirror edges. It is inevitable that, over the years, some moisture will penetrate the edges of the mirror coating, causing damaage to the mirror. This can be prevented as much as possible through proper ventilation and maintenance of the mirror. It is especially important that you keep the mirror thoroughly dry.

Primabad uses universal connectors, so most replacement bulbs for Primabad lighting should be easy to find in the Netherlands and Belgium. If you are unable to find the replacement bulbs you need for your Primabad lighting, please notify your dealer, and they can order the desired replacement bulbs through us. Please note that, unfortunately, our LED bulbs are not replaceable, but they do have a longer lifespan.
